Tim and Cora have just finished filming 20 English classes that will be posted online sometime in March! That’s right poeple…you will be able to actually learn more English from wherever you live with two teachers you might remember from BAE. So pay attention to this web page so you can get more information about this cool way to learn English. You can learn some new vocab and grammar, or just review some concepts that you might be forgetting. Check it out! 

The BAE is happy to see the return of some students from the Showa School, which is located in Jamaica Plain and provides high school and university classes for Japanese girls and women. We’ve had students from the Showa several times over the years, and we always have a great time working with these enthusiastic and friendly ladies. They are well-known to have great English skills as well, which is a great challenge for all of the other students. Yokoso!

Our students join the millions across the world in wanting to do something to help the victims of the January earthquake in Haiti.  Cora’s class came up with the idea of a donation effort at BAE, and the school agreed to support and match the contributions.  Students, teachers, and staff donated the week of January 25th, and a total of $400.00 was raised and sent to the American Red Cross specifically for Haiti Relief.Way to go, guys!
