Speaking of Japan, Ken and Marisa are gong to go to Japan for the first time next week! They’re really excited about their trip, and hope to meet a lot of potential students and agents to work with at the BAE. They are studying some phrases and are ready to meet the Land of the Rising Sun. Good luck you guys - be sure to try some natto ;)
Our students join the millions across the world in wanting to do something to help the victims of the January earthquake in Haiti. Cora’s class came up with the idea of a donation effort at BAE, and the school agreed to support and match the contributions. Students, teachers, and staff donated the week of January 25th, and a total of $400.00 was raised and sent to the American Red Cross specifically for Haiti Relief.Way to go, guys!
Phelippe is the newest addition to the BAE administration team. He is helping out with phones, emails, walk-ins, books and lots of other stuff. Most of all, Phelippe is communicating with potential students from Brazil, which is his native country. Hopefully we’ll be seeing lots of new students from the biggest country in South America.
