The Muslim tradition of Ramadan is here and we have plenty of students at the school who are joining the fasting ritual this year. These students sometimes get up very early in the morning to have breakfast and therefore are sometimes a little sleepy inclass. Don’t worry guys - student and teachers support you! Hopefully teacher’s will forget to bring Dunkin Donuts to class on Fridays! How about non-Muslim students - could you try fasting for a day or two?? Give it a try!
We’re taking out our academic frustrations on the field! Tim scheduled a paintball activity today. We had a whole bunch of people sign up! They were all excited to get down and dirty. Let’s see what happens tomorrow…maybe there will be a different energy around BAE…a little more calm, let’s say.
We had our first-ever talent show last month and it was really full of surprises from students and teachers. We had guitars, violins, singing, soccer ball tricks, juggling a poetry reading and even a scene from Shakespeare! There was really something for everyone and everyone really did a fantastic experience. Special props to Juan Camilo who sang a compostion he wrote a cappela. We hope to have another talent show soon, so please start practicing~~
