Boston Academy of English students attended a presentation on May 6th about the process of applying to a 4-year college in the USA for international students. It is considerably more complicated here than overseas, with many students applying to from 2 to 10 institutions.

The presenter was Ms. Megan Gustafson, Associate Regional Marketing Manager for American International College in Springfield, Mass. AIC hosts 1700 students studying in four organized schools: Arts, Education & Sciences; Business Administration; Health Sciences, and Continuing & Extended Studies.

Top 10 Facts about Tim Perry, Teacher, Housing, Activities.

I couldn’t think what to write here so I asked my students and the other teachers, “What one thing about me do you find the most interesting?”  The following are the Top Ten Facts…

1.  MIT wanted to be TIM…but the name was already taken.

2.  Tim always wears shoes and socks. Even when he goes swimming at the beach.

3. Tim had his cornea scratched by an umbrella and after 2 years fighting he won his case and now only people who are more that 6 feet tall are the only ones that can buy an umbrella… Thanks Tim! It’s raining a every day you know?

4.  Tim Perry smells nice! yes, sometimes !!! especially his hair…jejeje !! But sometimes his body smells like a whiteboard marker .. uh huh…and he’s the only man alive with eyes BETTER than Daniel Craig’s! Siiiiggggghhhhh

5.  Tim Perry is 40 feet tall and made of tungsten.

6.  The next G5 Summit will be held at Tim’s house. He is baking a sprial ham and asks the other world leaders to please bring complimentary side dishes.

7.  Tim Perry has webbed toes.

8.  Webster’s dictionary is based on Tim’s life.

9.  Tim was Time Magazine’s “Person of the Year” in 1846; beating out Count Pawel Edmund Strzelecki.

10.  Tim has scored more goals than David Beckham.
